Graduate Training

We are looking for promising graduate students to work with us in the Visual Perception Lab. Our lab is part of the Engineering Psychology Program as well as the Experimental Psychology Program in the Georgia Tech School of Psychology. We also collaborate with researchers in other fields both outside of Georgia Tech as well as within. Some of this research is funded by the National Science Foundation. Thus, students have an opportunity to do both applied and basic research in an interdisciplinary environment.

Weekly lab meetings give everyone in the lab a chance to discuss on-going research projects, relevant literature, statistical and methodological issues, as well as brain storm about future directions and debate about controversial issues. I also meet individually with grad students to discuss their individual projects. Senior grad students, in turn, supervise and meet individually with undergrads working in our lab to help guide them in their research.
